I'm taking the rest of the week to try and finish up a few sm projects that have been laying around and weighing down my mind.. so you probably wont see any pics til i get them done

I'm thinking about offering up my patterns for sale.. in the past i've held tight onto how i make my dolls.. part of it has been just because it's a special project of mine and the other half.. well i'm just damn lazy and i would have to organize my patterns and clean them up.. and then write up how i do things.  There's just sooo much information so it couldnt be put into one pattern sale.. so i probably would have to do costume packs after the first "how to make a layla doll"

and then i thought i could make a video showing step by step how you make a basic doll... Idk it's something that my hubby has been saying i should do and all i can think about is how much work it would be for me to get it together lol..

Not sure if i'm going to do it but wanted to hear your thoughts on it

I'll try to keep my front page updated with the orders that i'm currently working on.. i dont really want to show the whole list at one time because it's overwhelming for me to look at it .. baby steps right? lol

So this weekend the USPS shipping prices increased which means in turn i will have to raise my shipping prices.. It's a sm increase on US addresses  but it really hit the Canada/International Addresses.  It added something like 6 dollars to their shipping price. So i'll be reconfirming shipping prices with my orders once i get back into making my dolls.. the sewing machine is still sick . Thought i would give ya'll a heads up

My poor Elna sewing machine had to be taken in to be serviced.. it stop doing the zig zag stitch that i sometime used while making my dolls.. so i decided that i wanted it fixed right now.. get it over with.. and they said it might be two weeks before i will get it back . so this means that orders will be delayed another two weeks. My poor sewing machine.. in a strange place.. without me! i hope they can fix it.. i love my sewing machine so much and i would hate to have to go get another one.

not sure what i will be doing atm.. but i'll let you guys know how it works out

Watch alot of the dolls i've made shake their bootie in our Favorite Paragon Dance club, Pocket D!

So as you know, I started trying out this doll music video thing with shin's Megumi Yamato because i thought it would be neat to show him what all it takes to put one of these dolls together. By the time i got to Bellpei's order, i got inspired to do skullcrusher aeon video. After making Dr Aeon dance.. i thought i would experiment with Xiel and see what other dance moves i could make this cuties do. From there til now, I tried to get pictures of every doll dancing.. Some i missed because i was in a rush to ship them out and just forgot to get their dance pictures. Sorry for those that i missed. So this has been a huge ongoing project. The Video took 424 pictures to make. Thanks to :      M I Abrhams, CPet89, Little Yeti, Karokat, Queen Frosteen, Bewilder, Cottonkandy, Fanged Knight and probably some more that i've forgotten.. there's alot of dolls in there you know

In other news... i have kinda counted up and it looks like that i have made 213 dolls for the year of 2012.. crazy to think about.. especially since i was aiming for a lower amount in order to reduce my doll stress lol. other funny fact : 20 of them were pyramid head dolls. Whats my complete total of dolls i've made ? it's around 370 .. theres that many of my dolls running around causing havoc *evil laugh*

I feel like i've been away for FOREVER! We had to visit family at the last minute in GA and since my Hubby can fly a plane we can do that kinda thing where we pack up in a hurry and get in a plane and go off without thinking about silly plane tickets and security.

Now that last statement might make it sound like we are rich.. but really i'm just a really poor person that knows the right people but it makes me feel rich sometimes  I think everyone should have one of those days where you put your sunglasses on and say.. I'm VIP now go get me a bottle of water!

But the hurricane/bad weather kept us from flying back home in our sm plane so we ended up staying longer than expected. I was twitching thinking about the dolls i need to work on. Just imagine me shaking my fist at my hubby telling him how I'm getting more behind on my dolls. I have an extreme work ethic and sometimes work myself way too hard and when i can't get things done.. well .. it drives me crazy. I really need to find a way to relax lol.

So i'm back to work on a 9doll order that you wont be able to see until after xmas.

Just letting you guys know i'm probably going to be AFk starting Saturday for about a week.. not sure.. Something has come up IRL . it also will take up some time away from the dolls and this idea i had to do for halloween. Guess i'll write it down and do it next year Anyways though i let you guys know incase you got worried that  ninja monkeys had kidnapped me and plan on selling me on ebay to the highest bidder.

So my wedding anniver is coming up.. it's on Oct 30th.. and then i have my hubby's bday on thanksgiving.. and then xmas.. and i dont have a clue on what to give him on all these special days. Right now i'm using all my creative energy on a 9 doll order i'm working on so i thought.. Why not ask the viewers!

You might have wondered about the daily pictures.. or the lack of them. I was sick most of last week and even though i heard the dolls calling i was forced to stay in bed. This week I'm working on order. I've gone alittle overboard on it which is causing me to spend more time on it then usual but i think she's going to love it. Then is coming to visit on thrus. I need to clean house and prep for the craziness he's going to bring. Hopefully i can get the pictures back to normal next week

In light of recent events, Layla and I have been forced to step up our planning on our next (and apparently last) event. You'll notice that we aren't including influence prizes on any of them...I can throw money at you if you want, though.  (Gotta find the humor where you can, folks.)

Anyway, for the next several weeks, we're going to be doing task force marathons leading up to the last Layla and Stone event ever. Without further ado, the schedule:

This one will be...tough. The goal? Take down Lord Recluse WITHOUT taking down his towers. Impossible? Maybe, maybe not. To have a chance we will need:

4 people with intangible enemy powers, such as sonic cage, dimension shift, etc.
3 people that can contribute DPS/debuffs. Looking for Corrs, ill/rads, and cold domination.
1 person that can tank Lord Recluse.

This will be a sign up only event, so sign up here or send me a message end game. I will need from you what character you want to bring that matches the above criteria, and a secondary character that matches the criteria to fill in another role in case we need to mix it up. Please ensure to RSVP with the strongest character you have that matches the criteria.

I'm not sure i'm ready for this.. but I'm reopening Commissions. It would hurt my heart too much to say no to my fellow CoH players that are dealing with the lost of Our other home. I've already have alot of people asking if i would make their favorite toons into dolls and so i knew i would have to reopen my commissions.

So How this will work.. just like before you will need to message me in one way or another.. here, etsy, email, or forums while it's still up and let me know you are going to want a doll so i can put you down on my list. Make sure to go get good screenshots of what you want. Ouro is a good place in city of heros to take screenies.. it has really good light.. or take screenies while in costume creator.. but i will need front, side, back and close up of face. I'm sorry i wont be accepting costume files because by the time i get to your doll it might be too late to view it on city of heroes. After i see the screenshots i then can give you a quote and then you can let me know if you agree with the amount. Base price will be the same.. 27 for doll and 6 for shipping for US/Canada  addresses (international addresses just let me know and i can give you a shipping quote) Things like wings.. goggles.. led lights in eyes..complex costumes will add to the cost. I will confirm with you about two weeks before i start on your doll. As long as it is under a $100 order , you do not have to pay til i have completed it. Any Order that will be over $100 will have to pay half upfront before i start on your order. After i have completed your order, I will list it on my etsy shop and message you letting you know it's ready. I will probably use your doll in some funny pictures that i will post on my DA page or i might use it in a You tube video. I ask that people be patient with me because it will take me awhile to get to everyone and be able to spend my last few months on City Of Heroes enjoying my own toons. I'm not sure how i will get through all of it but maybe  i can convince someone to come over to help me out.. ***edit A few have asked about the LED lights in the eyes. So here i am to explain it you can see a sample pic here [link] It's a LED light that i put into the button eyes that light up when you push the doll's belly. It is powered by a 9volt battery (not included) that you can get to by way of a flap on the back. It adds $10  to the cost of your doll. If you want a Timed LED set, the lights stay on about 15 secs after you have pushed the belly , that one adds $18  to the cost of the doll. Atm we have Red, Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue, Aqua, and White. If you have a visor like cyclops from xmen kinda thing i do have Red and Blue EL wire in stock for that but you will have to message me about a quote on that.
